A glossy 1950s vintage wagon is the summer home of circus founder, Nell Gifford and her self-styled ‘1970s Victorian bohemian’ look. Giffords Circus is an exuberant family fixture, a traditional circus which tours the South West of England in the summer with its company of Russian aerialists, Hungarian horsemen and Canadian musicians. Nell’s winter home is a stone Cotswolds farmhouse filled with the same bohemian alchemy; flowery vintage eiderdowns, vases filled with English roses and wild mint and a profusion of creative tools, paintbrushes, canvases and fabrics.
